Onward through the city to visit some of Porto's most emblematic spots: the Café A Brasileira and the theaters of Sá da Bandeira and Rivoli. You’ll explore the bustling commercial district of Santa Catarina, where the famous Mercado do Bolhão, currently under renovation, has many tales to tell. Right across from the market is the Pérola do Bolhão, one of Porto's oldest stores. It embodies the spirit and energy of the city.

We go past the Capela das Almas and the renowned Café Majestic, a prime example of Art Nouveau architecture. You’ll also see the church of Santo Ildefonso and its stunning blue tiles, reminiscent of the São Bento train station. Both of these are work of the artist Jorge Colaço.
Now to the unique Bairro Herculano, known locally as "the island." This charismatic district is famous for hosting the best São João night celebrations on July 23rd.

On to a section of the ancient Fernandine Wall, originally built in the 14th century. But the best is saved for last.

We cross the Luís I bridge and finish our tour at the Miradouro do Teleférico in Gaia which offers us a breathtaking view that is sure to be a highlight of your stay in Porto.
